Something for real!

I haven't followed every episode of Scandal because I don't agree with a lot of it.  Yesterday, it looked like a happy ending.  All the complications disappeared and it looked like everyone got their happy ending...

What about the person who went to jail?
Well, he's been killing lots of people since day one so... oh well.

What about the person with the gun to his head?
Well, he's been killing lots of people since day one so... oh well.  But a lot of people like him and don't want him to be killed.  See your double standard?!?

What about the person who lost his job?
He's been despicable.  I know some people like him but he's done a lot of crap so I understand that.

What about the person who got kicked out of the white house?
Now that story line struck a nerve.  I think she didn't mean any harm.  I think he's been looking for an excuse to do this for a long time.  He gave up on the marriage at the end of the day.

Why do guys cheat?

There are a lot of questions that people ask like "why do guys cheat? ","what can i do to prevent cheating? " etc. Etc.

It it's what it is. I found a good article about it on Huffington post and wanted to share.

This was the most interesting answer and let me know that some people expect it.

"
I choose not to 'cheat' but we are both adults and he can do what he wants. He travels for work and I'm OK with an occasional passing romp. I almost expect it, as that's how we met. The odd thing is, he came to me admitting it and apologizing, saying he was drunk and stupid. I honestly think he was disappointed that I wasn't jealous. Then we talked it out and dealt with it like adults. Here's the thing: We are secure together and committed to each other. That's what matters. Emotionally, I know that he is all mine and I am all his. As I explained to him: if he wants someone else occasionally (not locally or regularly), and he is safe, and it doesn't interfere with our relationship, it doesn't bother me."

Reality, Worry, Trust, God

Some people choose to see the world as mostly good with some bad elements.  They know this perspective may not be true but being optimistic about what is to come will help to keep you moving and make good things happen.

Some people choose to see the world as mostly bad with some good elements.  They know this perspective may not be true but being pessimistic about what is to come will prevent you from being disappointed when bad things do happen because they eventually do happen.

Reality is reality and trying to view it as anything else might be due to fear, worry or a lack of trust in God.  Reality can be scary.  We can't predict what tomorrow holds.  But if we know God's word, that might make it easier to view reality as what it is.

Cash flow

I've been playing Cash Flow 101 and this is what I've learned.
1. If It is not an appreciation asset, purchase with cash
2. Focus on increasing passive income 1st, then focus on building assets (because once you replace your income, you have more freedom and can build wealth)
3. When investing, think about return on investment. How soon will you see a profit?
4. Try to make money when selling assets. Avoid selling at a loss if you can help it especially if it's generating income for you.
